If I can live without alcohol and feel content why is living without sugar harder lol

Turns out things we enjoy light up the same 'pleasure centres', be it food, puppies or drugs.
That doesn't mean we should avoid things just because we enjoy them!
Saying that; I mostly do avoid cheese for that very reason - I don't have the will power to control myself!
