Strength training question

I have been very resistant to strength training. I've been doing cardio and that's pretty much all. The times I did try lifting I found it hugely boring. I also can't afford nor am I anywhere near a gym and while I do have some dumbells at home they max out at 30 pounds. Anyways, I always hear about the benefits of strength training so I decided to try bodyweight exercises. I found a circuit online to do and today I did it. By the time I was done I was drenched with sweat and absolutely exhausted. My legs and arms are so sore and feel like jello. I feel nauseated and throughout my head was pounding. Also, whenever I finish my cardio I'm pooped but i feel great. Right now I feel down right b*tchy. I don't know if I did something wrong or i pushed too hard or if it just takes time to get used to but I know I won't stick with it if I constantly feel like this afterwards. Thoughts?

Probably too much...probably not enough rest, etc. A lot of circuits are grueling and you need to build up to it as it's a lot of cardio along with resistance.

Body weight training can be grueling, you may have overdone it. Just like I did my first time lol. I had to tone it down and work my way up - still working after a year plus, but have made some very satisfying gains.
