Why do MFP people get so upset?

I'd like to hear your opinion on this.
I'd been doing research on how to lose weight out of desperation to lose weight. Throwing up after eating no longer worked. I ate frozen/processed/ fast food on the go. That's how I gained a lot of weight. Overeating was never my problem. I never binged or obsessed with food.
So I found my answer. I thought I'd give it a try. I started eating more food. I eat like 7-9 times a day. I stop when I'm full. I eat Whole/unprocessed foods only. No starchy carbs. I get my carb intake from veggies , whole milk/yogurt and some sunflower seeds. I eat all the super food, you name it.
I lift free weights at home 4-5
days a week, 30mins a day. No cardio (I hate cardio)
I'm still losing weight. I used to have frequent mood swings and depression. They're all gone and I'm happier than ever!
My question is, why do MFP people get so upset when I say I eat Whole/unprocessed foods? I like it and I don't miss a thing about nasty junk food or cake.. etc. I've never been a big fan of sweets or fast food anyway. I go see a movie, I don't have to eat anything. Getting stoned and watch a movie is the most amazing feeling ever. Why should I make it a cheat day and eat popcorn/drink soda?
I'm 5'2" and MFP gives me 1200 calories a day to lose weight. But I go over 2000 calories a day, easily. So I don't count calories anymore because MFP says I would gain weight if I keep eating that way. Why am I losing weight? I don't have a gym membership and have a desk job. My workout at home is not intensive.
My metabolism skyrocketed ever since I started my new eating habit.

I've never seen anyone care if others choose to avoid processed food or non-whole foods.

I've only ever seen it become an issue when they make statements about other people needing to avoid certain foods in order to lose weight.

You don't want to eat certain foods. Okay, nbd. There are foods I don't care for either.

I'm unclear how you know you're going over your calorie goal if you aren't counting calories. If you're losing weight it's because you're eating less than you are burning. That's how it works for people who avoid processed foods and it's how it works for people who eat "nasty" foods.
