    It's all guestimating.
Consistency over time will tell how well you lose, maintain, or gain.

Because it's based on if every day were like that exact day you logged. If you ate fewer calories today than yesterday, it will show that you would lose more weight.

Because it looks at a specific number, and assumes every day would be exactly the same. The reality is they are not. Frankly, the number is pretty bogus. I recorded it for a time to see how close it was, it was not close at all. At this point I often don't even close off my day because it is so useless.

11 lbs in 2 months is awesome! That's just over a lb per week, which seems like a nice rate of loss to me :)

11lbs in 8 weeks is awesome.
You're fighting physiology and the body wants to maintain the weight it's been for the longest time. Congrats on the success!
Just remember when it slows down, keep at it for a few more weeks. Weight loss is rarely linear.

You're not supposed to be "under 1200". You're supposed to hit 1200. (Ignore this if you just mean 1198 or 1199 - but if you're significantly under 1200, please stop undereating.)

You are doing great! Just keep on keeping on and before you know it the pounds will really add up. Besides this isn't a race and there are no bonus points for a fast time.

Your actual weight can depend on several factors. If you eat too much sodium and retain fluid, time of day, etc. Also if you're significantly lower than 1200 cal. on a daily basis, your metabolism slows down and you don't lose as fast.

Am I the only one here that thinks that eating UNDER 1200 calories is dangerous? I'm not trying to be rude at all, I'm only concerned.
