Newbie needs motivation

Hi my name is Ingrid. I'm a 55 f living in BC Canada. Just been diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes and working at controlling it by changing my diet and by exercising. Currently about 100 lb over weight. Looking for friends so that we can motivate each other!
