my fitness pal gave me 2020 calories for my weightloss goal, so does this mean i can eat the addition calories remaining without gaining weight and still being in a deficit thanks in advance

Not sure what you mean by addition calories but..
If you plugged all your data into MFP (age, height, weight, a rate of loss) and it gave you 2020 cals per day - if you eat those you'll (on average - because weight loss in not linear) lose weight at the rate you specified.
If you exercise and log that exercise, you will be allocated even more calories - which MFP suggests you can eat whilst still losing at your chosen rate. But, most people on MFP (myself included) would argue that MFP tends to over-estimate calories form exercise and so it is wise to only eat back half of those exercise cals.
Hope this helps1
