Hi all. I dislocated 13 bones in my upper spine a few years back, which was a follow-on from a childhood dislocation of my cervical spine. My spine has played up recently and so I'm in physio and it turns out I have a hypermobile skeleton, and (again), my shoulderblades have winged out to the side, which is where the pains coming from.
Has anyone else out there encountered this? I'm still in the gym, playing netball etc and the physio is confident we can strengthen my spine and prevent further dislocations - and indeed it seems that the hypermobility is a blessing as otherwise either accident would have resulted in a broken back/neck.
I'm just curious to know what worked for you if this is similar to your story
