Ooo! Pick me! I have been working on getting myself into a completely Whole Foods Plant based way of eating. I can't stand following recipes, but I have difficulty keeping my meals fresh and new. When I start making the same things over and over I get bored, and I find some things online. I can't get an opinion to know if it tastes good or not so, I won't make it because it would just be thrown out and I hate wasting food! I also don't have much knowledge of ALL the different veggies and what they go best with to form a good hearty meal.0

Great! I love working with motivated people!! So, you do not have to follow any recipes if you so choose. You can keep it very simple--I encourage people to "batch cook"--pick a couple of hours once a week to cook up a big pot of brown rice, roast some vegetables, (anything you like, onions, peppers, squash, mushrooms zucchini, etc.), make a big pot of soup, (start with vegetable broth, throw in veggies, beans, rice, whatever--and some spices such as rosemary and time, or onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper) so you have food ready to go for the week. Cut up some vegetables and put in containers for stir frys or snacks with some hummus, keep frozen vegetables in your freezer to make quick and easy stir frys during the week. One of my favorite quick recipes is frozen broccoli and cauliflower tossed in a skillet, add a small amount of some sort of sauce such as Hoisen, (read labels, I do not use any oils), when all is heated through, throw in some chickpeas and eat over rice....very easy! If I have left-overs, I eat it for breakfast or lunch the next day....yes breakfast--I am big on eating vegetables any time of the day! One of my favorite breakfasts is cabbage soup with beans--really good and easy!! I suggest you fill your plate with some sort of grain (like rice or quinoa), or a potato, add veggies and some sort of beans--I know you don't like to follow recipes, but if you look up buddha bowls on pinterest, you will get loads of ideas. I understand that you don't want to waste food, but you do have to experiment to find out what you like or don't like. It's an on-going process, but so worth it for your health!!0
