Congrats on your pregnancy! I switched MFP to maintenance last pregnancy after leaving the first trimester - there were many days where I went over (especially the holidays), but overall I was able to keep my weight gain to 23 out of the 25 lbs my midwife recommended. I think MFP definitely helped me keep the unneeded fluff pounds off.
Talk to your doctor and see what they recommend. My midwife was fine with me continuing to use MFP during the pregnancy, and was happy with my end weight gain. Good luck!1 -
I had my little girl a few days before christmas and I ate at maintenance. I gained 23 lbs and I was a pre-pregnancy weight at 2 weeks postpartum. I am really j ust starting to get more active as I drop my milk supply very quickly if I am to aggressive. I feel that myfitness pal really helped me keep my gains in control for this last pregnancy and for the pregnancy before. With both of my girls I gained what I needed and not a pound more with the help myfitnesspal gave me.2

Set it to maintain for the first trimester. But after that you're suppose to eat some extra calories for the little.
So first trimester maintain
2nd add 150 calories
3rd add another 150 calories
And also keep active.
