Resetting myself

After a string of injuries including head trauma, I need to cut back on working and put more back into working out. I lost at one point 85lbs in less than a year! I felt great! Went from 265 to 180, sadly do to making myself work as many hours I could and getting hurt I am back to 230lbs not happy with myself.

I am determined and motivated but realistic. I know I cannot drop the weight that fast again as I cannot lift weights like I used to while I recover. I need help people. I need folks that are willing to communicate with me and help me stay on the narrow.

It's never an easy battle because it is a never ending war.

If you'd be willing please feel free to add me. I look forward to doing this and getting back on it. Monday I start it all over again.

If you think about this as a war, it will be a war.

Set a reasonable calorie goal - tell MFP that you want to lose 1% of your current body weight per week.

Use a food scale and your food diary and hit that calorie goal every day.

Eat food you like. Exercise if you want to.

    Oh, and start today.

Brilliant comment and advice. I would listen to it very carefully.
