Hamstrings Cramping

I use resistance bands to work out at home. I just split my workout to target specific muscles and added in some hamstring work. Any exercise that targets my hamstrings causes them to cramp up right after I'm finished. I'm using the lightest band and the exercises aren't difficult for me to complete. I stretch between each set and do two glute exercises before moving back to hamstrings.
Is there something I need to do to remedy this or will it get better as I continue? I am new to this kind of workout. I usually run or do another type of cardio.
