Hi I'm 51 years old and my goal is to lose body fat and hopefully, with dedication and commitment, I'd see my abs for the first time.

Welcome to the site, Dave. I have found it very helpful at planning and managing macros, calories and exercise. If you have a fitness tracker it is beneficial to link the two as well. The first few days of getting to know the site are a little awkward but once you get the hang of tricks, like copying a meal to the next day when you are going to repeat it, you'll find it much easier to navigate. Take advantage of the little daily notes spot at the bottom of each page when you want to remind yourself of anything you think will influence changes. And don't undervalue the benefits of sufficient sleep. It is a BIG influencer on your body's response to stress and thus to health in general. Happy Healthing.
