Fit Bit Charge 2

Trying to change my calorie intake on my FitBit Charge 2 so it syncs up with my calories on MFP but seems impossible? Also if anyone can explain this cals in vs cals out thing to me because I am so confused, I have logged some food today (because I know what I will be eating) and it is already saying 1110 cals in 590 left, what does that even mean? Also when I click on Activity Goals it says Calories 2274, I don't even know what this means either? I have tried Googling but people are not explaining things in plain English at all. Hope someone can help!

Activity goals are your own goals to put in under charge 2, as you can see you can change them to be whatever you want your daily burn to be.
Under nutrition and body goals you can set your goal. Maintaining, losing or whatever it is, the U select the deficit you want to eat at. ( if you're prelogging - Fitbit will estimate based on your average burns how many cals you have left to eat for that day to meet the previous goal you entered0
