I hadn't been on the app for a while. So when I DID use it, I noticed that not only had Under Armour bought them out, but now we have ads on our home page. Also....In order to see ALL the nutrition info (macros, proteins, etc), you're forced to BUY a subscription! What the hell is that all about?
What happened to FREE?
MFP.....If you needed money, why not just charge a $5 fee for the app, from the BILLIONS of people who use it every day, or the new ones adding the app?
This is ridiculous!
I am pretty sure there are other apps just as useful, less confusing to use, & actually FREE!
I'm out!

I just use it for the food tracking / food database, and to record my weight. Works well for those purposes and is still free + easy to use.

You can always export your data and import it into a database. I'm kind of surprised there aren't more third party tools to do that.

I do get what you're saying though. The commercialization of everything is a downer, but people gotta make money, and subscription models are the big money maker.

I get everything I need from the free version. I can still see all my nutrition data etc. I never pay attention to the ads. Sorry it isn't working for you. It's working great for me - well worth the no money I pay for it.
