How do you ( or did) plan to celebrate or reward yourself?

When you finally reach your target weight loss goal? Or If you already did how did your reward yourself.
I thought about spending money on new wardrobe but changed my mind. So I'm planning a 1 week get-away beach vacation as a reward if I reach my goal by my birthday this summer. I can celebrate both my birthday and my weight loss.

I've not thought about the end goal, but I have one planned for my half-way there goal. Once I reach my half-way point (which is in only 9lbs from right now) I will not only be half-way through my journey, but also enter the "Overweight" BMI range (formerly Obese Class 2), lost 20% of my initial weight AND have hit One-derland. I plan to celebrate with a weekend (or longer) in Paris I'm really excited, I have this new blue coat that I am saving for that occasion. I really really hope that this will happen in April!15

I did it backwards. I planned a ten day trip that required being in a bathing suit and then said, "Oops. Maybe I should lose some weight."
I lost nearly all of the weight in that next 8-9 months after paying for and before going on the trip. It was kinda hectic, because I had to buy all new clothes for the trip, too.19 -
My husband has promised me a trip to Paris for when I hit my ultimate target weight. I love Paris We've had three wonderful trips there, just exploring the city.
Did I mention that I love Paris?14 -
By feeling much better and being healthier. Looking better doesn't hurt either.9

Planning a trip too. Either to Costa Rica or Peru.9

I would have to say buying new clothes. Sales at my favorite stores, occasional Goodwill find, and ThredUp have been the way I have purchased most of them. Seldom paying full price. Living in a 4 season climate means having to purchase more for spring and summer - oh darn!5

I've been rewarding myself with clothes for a while. I've lost 72lbs and am 8 lbs from my final goal. I've decided to get myself a nice piece of jewelry that I could wear and remember how far I have come.
@Madwife2009 would love to go to Paris. Actually looked into it a bit yesterday, but too expensive to fly there in the summer and with kids in school can only go in the summer. Sigh.8 -
My reward for reaching the halfway point is a trip to Wyoming to see the solar eclipse this August. I reached this way faster than I thought I would so I have a long time to go before getting that reward.
My reward for reaching my final goal is a 2 week trip to Spain to see Madrid and Barcelona. If all goes according to plan I may reach that goal before getting to collect on my first reward.10 -
I'm more than half way there & I love getting rid of my old clothes, mainly pants, underwear & I get pants at thrift store now cause I'm not planing for them to fit for too long6

My reward is my son inviting me to climb the Grand Teton in Wyoming with him this summer, a bucket list item for the last 38 years, 35 of that being too heavy to even think of such an adventure. I'm 63 and have a lot to do to prepare, but I have no doubt that I will be ready by early summer. I have already lost the weight I needed to, now I'm just working on strength and stamina. @ABabilonia: Costa Rica or Peru also sounds nice!13

When I hit my goal weight I plan on getting a boob job and tummy tuck.11

I set a lot of mini goals and typically rewarded myself with new workout clothes (that actually fit!), new undies and bras and new running shoes. About every 10 lbs lost I would get something.6

Full on clothing shopping spree and a family photo shoot5

I'm rewarding myself this morning with a new outfit, but only because nothing fits me anymore. To be honest, losing the weight was reward enough in itself. I now look in the mirror and I don't hate the reflection. That's a nice reward.19

I've been rewarding myself with new clothes out of necessity. I have to look presentable for work and too big clothes and a front desk don't mix well...
My long term reward (dependent on hitting goal weight and maintaining for 2 years) is eye surgery. My doctor actually suggested it to me when I went it to start the necessary preparations. He's worried that losing weight might impact my sight (my astigmatism has been changing since I've lost weight), so he'd rather wait until it's again stabilized - meaning in about 4 years...1 -
A sexy side tatt!

losing all this weight is reward enough for me. But i am shopping more now than before.6

I bought a groupon for a massage. It expires in about 160 days. Not sure of my goal...5

I got there just before Christmas in 2015. So I stopped logging.
A month later, I celebrated by starting to ride the long distance rides I used to do before I gained the weight. That ride was 200 km.
And then a couple weeks after that, I celebrated by cycling up Mt Wellington!

A trip with my hubby! Somewhere warm so I can hopefully wear a bikini for the first time ever!10

As a man, I just want to enjoy the beach or occasionally do landscaping work with my shirt off WITHOUT feeling like I look messed up.9

Not sure if it's a reward or a goal, but we are taking a family vacation and touring Europe for 3 weeks this fall. I am going to be healthy enough to do all the walking tours I want to do (which is really the best way to explore an area) and skinny enough to not want to crop myself out of all of the pictures on what is a once in a lifetime opportunity13

So this might sound totally self involved, but when I hit my goal weight I want to get a professional fitness inspired photography session done. Something where I look like I could be out of a fitness mag. The reason is that once upon a time (8 years ago now ) I got in great shape and I literally have no photo evidence. So now I almost forget that it's possible. (I put on so much weight since then I don't see the skinny me anymore) And if I have pictures I can look at, it makes me feel more motivated.14

This thread is great because I am wanting to do something over the top when I get to my UGW. I have lost 40 pounds so I have had to get new clothes, I go for massages monthly because my benefits pay for them so I need something really special for when I get there2

My husband bought me a new wedding ring for our anniversary, which fell right around the point where I lost 50% of my body weight and the 200 lb loss mark fell shortly thereafter. I would have told him not to spend the money but was ok with the expense when it was a celebration of those 3 important things. I had been wearing my wedding ring and band on my index finger for months. I plan on having them resized when I hit my goal weight.5

Not at all. I was totally thinking the same thing for pretty much the same reason. I'm less than 5lbs from my goal and hoping to hit my goal pretty soon and now I'm thinking maybe I will wait for that photo shoot until after I get a tummy tuck and a breast lift. Decisions decisions...:-)6 -

Has your astigmatism been getting worse? I guess time for me to schedule and eye dr. appt.0 -

That reminds me, I need to resize mine before I lose it.1 -
No special reward is planned. For me, the benefits I recieve on an ongoing basis from trimming down are rewards enough ... that said, I am looking forward to the day when I will not care if I am dressed or naked when I take my weight measurement, and also when I can shop in the "Misses" department instead of "Womans"; when I can fit into a small airplane seat without being squeezed or having the reclined seat in front of me make it impossible to bring down the snack tray; when my doctor says "come back in 6 months" instead of in "3"; when a grandchild - or 2 - can sit on my lap without sitting on my knees, but actually sitt on my thighs. ... these are rewards to me in and of themselves.13

I plan to re-form my band and attend the 2018 BlizzCon as a reward4
