Nobody famous but my inspiration was/is my grandad - passed away back in 2002 but he's a man that paved my way to having things to do with the Royal Marines - he was in the RAF in world war 2 and lived through things that most of us can never imagine.
The man was/is my hero and he's my idea of a real life action man.

Because of him I decided to join the Royal Marines and then work towards training others to get into the armed forces - it doesn't take fame to make somebody an inspiration, it takes respect and the knowledge of what a person has done in life!
