Hey guys!!
I just completed my food diary for today but MFP has told me I'm not eating enough. To be honest I feel like I've eaten a good amount and anything more would be excessive?
I've made my diary public, would anyone be able to check it out for me and leave their opinions?
Due to some comments on messenger, I was feeling a little under the weather this morning so copped out on breakfast☺️
Thankyou!

900 calories isn't excessive but did you really only eat 10g of cereal and pate?

Looks to me like you need to up your protein. You are not meeting the minimum level.

Are you weighing all your solids and measuring all of your liquids? If the answer is yes, and you are still undereating, you should be eating more. Remember the number that MFP gives you is a goal to get as close to as possible. It's not a number that you try to eat under by large amounts.

I tend not to eat that much in the morning maybe I'll try upping it:) and yeah I don't like eating too much meat/fish so only have a little pate. Maybe I need to rethink stuff

Yeah but I think one factor could be my scales aren't the best haha! Had small portions of breakfast today just because I was feeling a little sicky! Thankyou for the advice:)

For one day, don't worry. For health, don't make that a habit.

The system does not allow you to close your diary under 1200, because that is the minimum it will accept (for females). This is to ensure that you are getting enough calories and nutrition to fuel your body.

If you don't like meat that's ok, you can up your calories by eating cheese, yogurt, etc. Whether or not you hit the dietary macros is up to you, they're there as a guideline. For most of us it's about meeting calories (up or down depending on your goals).
Weighing your food is going to be more accurate than measuring but at the minimum at least measure! If you're not full, have another two slices of bread and peanut butter (if you have any) or with the banana, that'll bump it up.

Don't force yourself to eat though, including the morning. Eat when you're hungry, and don't not eat because it's calories (that used to be something I would do).

Well definitely, and I apologize you did mention you weren't feeling well. I don't eat as much when I don't feel good. This is day one on the log it looks like, so the important thing is looking at it from here on out and seeing your food trends, where you can cut back, beef it up a little, and just in general what foods have what calories as a guideline.
I'm a cheese-a-holic so that's a quick go-to for me. Eggs? Hard boiled or scrambled in butter or a little oil (both also = more calories). Ice cream, fruits, frozen treats, etc. all can add up. You get more nutrition out of fruits and vegetables but whatever works if you're having problems with getting enough calories!
