Ok. I need advice. I'm 290 and have started working out at the gym (again). I have a problem with my belly flapping and flopping. I was wondering if I could wear a once piece swimsuit under my clothes it minimalize belly bounce.

If you want to, but that might get uncomfortable when you start sweating.
I would try leggings - like running tights.

You can get compression gear. I think people with loose skin issues find them extremely useful. There are many brands that sell them. Tesla for example is a good on quality/price benchmark. Just search for Compression Top on Amazon you'll see some.

Why don't you try the swimsuit and see if you like it.

Just make sure it's breathable. You wouldn't want to trap any more heat than necessary. Also, consider compression shorts that come with a drawstring. Mine are always sliding down, especially after I lost a few pounds. Very annoying.

Not sure a swim suit would give you you enough support in the chest, depending on what type you wear and what activities you are doing but if you belly's flopping.. I tend to look for tights that have a wide waistband (usually means they sit higher up and cover belly).
