So I was reading a book this weekend and I saw a saying that for years I have been saying something close to it but not quite it, Luckily I say it so fast nobody has probably ever noticed.

It was Jury Rig, I have always said Jerry Rig haha never really gave it much thought but it makes much more sense now.

What are some sayings or song lyrics you have gotten wrong over the years?

'Scuse me while I kiss this guy --> "scuse me whuile I kiss the sky. Hendrix in All Along the Watchtower

And Gerry Rig is correct too. In WWII the Allies knew the Germans (the "Gerrys") were running out of money and materials when they found Nazi vehicles and tanks and such cobbled together with bailing wire and vultured parts - Gerry rigged.
