How to record a rebounder workout with apple watch??

I've been trying to add some more exercise into my routine. I'm pretty busy so the only time to get it in is early in the morning while everyone is sleeping. I've been doing some rebounder videos and such on YouTube or just jogging on it for a cardio workout in order to not wake up the whole house.

I have an apple watch and I'm not 100% sure on which workout to use. I've been using the indoor walk since I'm moving, but not actually propelling myself forward like I would for a run. Anyone have any recommendations on how to record these?

I don't know about an Apple watch (sorry). But I agree it's somewhere in the middle (of walking & jogging) despite what advertisements say.

Indoor run seems like it would work. I believe the estimated calories expended is influenced by your heart rate during the exercise.

You could also use a 3rd party app, like UA Record?

I'm sure I could to sync into MFP, but it gets weird in the Apple health app. I figure if there is some difference in the calorie counting matrix between run and walk I'm better off on the safe side of using the walk matrix and potentially under calculating vs over calculating on using the run.

You would use the "Other" workout setting. If you take breaks, pause it.
