I wonder why on some days I burn about 10 calories a minute and on others about 8-9? Sometimes even 11? I use my Apple Watch, not the MyFitnessPal calculator which is ridiculous

probably the difference is heart rate and/or intensity of the work you your doing. I find when I listen to certain music I burn more because I push more

Gravity and the phase of the moon!

Actually, there's probably a better answer. It might have to do with the exercise you're doing and it might have to do with your watch. If you give us more info, somebody might even be able to help you figure it out.

But what are you referring to?
    Burning calories how, where?

Are you comparing the same conditions?

Yes I am comparing the exact same conditions, externally. Same equipment and location. Today I worked out at 24 hour fitness and surpassed my 45 minute burn of yesterday (from home elliptical) significantly, over180 calories, oh my!! I attribute it to, being the morning versus evening and being Friday. Maybe also coming off the weight machines for 45 minutes helped as well. Crazy hmm?!
