pinnacle garcinia cambogia and mango cleanse

I am aware that the weight loss claims for these products are hokum
Before I learned about MFP and Forums, and some of the myths, I had gotten a bottle of each of these, and never opened them. I recently found them and was wondering if they had any other benefits? Would they help with hair, skin and nails? Is it essentially a sugar/caffeine pill? I hate to just throw them away if they can have any kind of positive effect (although I'm not opposed to throwing them away if the effects are negative)
Thanks for any input!

Garcinia cambogia MIGHT give you a tiny bit of energy, but it's likely to do nothing. Mango cleanse I'm assuming has a laxative of some sort in it, so you should only take it if you need a laxative.0

Not at all what I expected. Thank you for that.
I have no idea what to do with them though.2 -
Yeah, the "cleanse" word makes me think you might regret that.
I'd just chuck them.1 -
Thanks all I think I'll keep them around, maybe give one or the other a try this week or as needed. I wouldn't mind an energy boost occasionally, and it never hurts to have a laxative for those days things are just stuffed up if I find they do nothing, or are pretty awful, then I'll toss them and write it off as a "never pay attention to those flashy ads about weight loss when you're down about your weight" lesson.Tacklewasher wrote: »

lol I've seen a few threads where people ask about them for weight loss, and after reading multiple forums/posts I've realized there's no magic. Just effort and management1
