Any tips for eating high iron, low cholesterol?

Have been feeling extra cruddy lately and blood test showed my iron was horribly low (partly due having an average of 18 AF's per year), and cholesterol really high. I can't eat a lot of steak as I have issues swallowing dense foods, plus a low budget means I can't always buy good quality lean meat. Would love any tips or ideas. I'm on iron supplements now to help, but really struggling to get enough iron in my regular diet.
