retired Army vet

Hi All...

I have used MFP in the past and it has worked well for me. I have recently retired from active duty (Army) and the first thing I stopped doing was Physical Training and as a result of my dumb-assness I have reached 306 pounds, the heaviest I have ever been in my life. Well, after a come-to-jesus moment I am ready to do this lifestyle change and get healthy once and for all. I have 6 year old twins and really want to be alive when they have kids. SO, here we go....ready to do this, make friends and motivate others.

First of all, thank you for your service. Second, great job on committing yourself to a healthy lifestyle. Your children and future grandchildren will thank you. Good luck!
