Anyone else love to cook bad food?

I think the reason that I got fat was that I learned how to cook. For real. I love a new recipe, I love reading a bazillion comments about how to make it its best, and I love being in the kitchen with a glass of wine. More than any of this, I love impressing people with an awesome meal, and when I'm cooking to impress, I don't dare spare any high-fat, high-cal, terrible-for-you ingredient.

I've made plenty of changes in my diet, menu, and habits, but my kitchen doesn't seem to have quite the same pull if I'm not making something comforting and sinful, and I really miss it! Anyone else experience anything similar? Thoughts or tips on impressive or enjoyable good-for-you meals?

I feel you. I didn't get fat from fast food, I got fat from four course meals that involved 8 hour cooking days and 7 different types of cheese.

I still do it, just not as often.
