Need advice-Keep getting weak and shaky during workout

I have always had issues with hypoglycemia and I keep getting the shakes a few minutes into my workout. I am kind of picky about vegetables and mainly like the ones that are starchy. I know I'm probably not getting enough high glycemic index foods or fiber. I work out immediately folllowing work. Any recommendations for easy snacks to eat on the way to the gym that will help and not be too heavy on my stomach???

    Some candy or a cookie? I like a piece of candy before I workout (sour patch kids are one of my favorites).
