Ginger Root Tea
When my wife was pregnant she was suffering horribly with morning sickness. A doctor prescribed Ginger root tea. This works great and is low cal for anything for stomach issues, and tastes great! Found it's also great for relaxing and headaches as well.
4 cups water
1/2 cubed pieces Fresh Ginger root
Bring to rolling boil for 10 minutes
Pour a mug add lemon / honey to taste.
Enjoy

I do agree, This is a very good tummy remedy. Also If someone is on the go or just doesn't feel like making the tea Reed's ginger brew is also very good. This is actual ginger ale with real ginger, not like Canada Dry or some thing like that. I actually have a recipe for a similar tea I like to make for sore throats or general colds. To the ginger tea you mention add a few crushed mint leaves, thyme leaves, and lemon zest. Boil as you mentioned.0

Vernor's Ginger Ale (regional to the Detroit, MI area) also works wonders!
Chewing on bits of ginger root (even if crystallized--how can something that is boiled in/coated in sugar be bad???) also helps with morning sickness--or it did for me, at least.0
