I'm eating out tonight and trying to plan ahead, as while it is "just one meal", I have "just one meal"s several times a week, one way or another. It's a local upscale Asian restaurant. I'm thinking this looks great:
TIGER SHRIMP SHANGHAI
Oceanwise Tiger Shrimp, Local Thick Egg Noodle, Ginger, Scallions, Dark Soy
?format=500w

But this is probably a better choice:
TIGER SHRIMP AVOCADO SALAD
Oceanwise Shrimp, Avocado, Granny Smith Apple, Bell peppers, Mandarins, Organic Mixed Greens, Wasabi Soy Dressing.
?format=500w

And then this is what looks delicious:
MAPLE THAI BASIL PORK RIBS
Pork Ribs, Deep Fried and Tossed in Maple Syrup, Thai Basil, Thai Chilli Soy Sauce. Choice of Steamed Jasmine Rice or Fresh Cut Chinese 5-Spiced Fries.
?format=500w

    Now I'm hungry.... :'(

    If I had enough calories banked, I'd go #3. If I didn't, #2.

How about the salad sub that yummy looking rib? Although, I would think 1 & 2 are comparable. That's 200 cals of avocado right there. By the time you put dressing on, it's a wash. Those fries in #3 would be what I would sub out.

Wait. Who am I kidding? I'd totes eat the fries.

*forces MFP and Google Fit to Sync*
    Calories left today: 800
Calories left, including the banked from this week: 1200
Problems with that 1200: Ice Cream Cake tomorrow.

    The struggle is real.

If you want the ice cream cake tomorrow and don't want to go over, then I would go with #2 and eat ice cream cake tomorrow. Or if you have time, do some exercise to get more calories for the ice cream cake. Or #3.

Or ALL OF IT!!! If that's what you please!

Ice cream cake is good incentive to exercise.

I had the ribs, husband had the ginger beef. One with fries, one with rice. We both ate both. I skipped that beer and had a small one later for dessert. Overall, 200 calories over for the day (still under maintenance) is my estimate. It was worth it - the food was fantastic.
