Quick question...
Once you have put all your weight / goals personal info into mfp the total amount in the green that it informs you is the total amount you can eat each day to lose weight ?
You don't leave 500 calories each day as the app has already done that for you ?

    Exactly. The deficit is built in.

    If you exercise and input that, MFP is designed so you eat your exercise calories back. Because calorie burns are inflated, it is usually advised that you start with eating 50% back and see what happens from there.

    The reason you put all of that info in is so the calculator can calculate how much you would eat to lose weight...unless you set it to maintain.

    Yes...the deficit is built in and has deducted from your theoretical maintenance calories as per your stated rate of loss goal and your stats.
