Hey,

I'm after some advice on my current workout routine. Gym instructor has given me a push/pull/legs split for weights which I'm trying to work out around cardio and rest days. Really confused about how I'm going to fit all this in or even how much to do. Working towards

Mon- push/pull/legs class
Tues - spin/push
Wed - conditioning circuits/CX Works (core)
Thursday - rest
Friday - spin/pull
Saturday - kickboxing class/kettlercise/legs

What is your goal? Realize that working out is for fitness and health and not necessarily for weight loss.

    Fat loss and lean muscle

Those goals contradict eachother. Fat loss is achieved through a caloric deficit, and muscle is achieved through proper stimulus and a caloric surplus.

Push/pull/legs are generally seperated onto 3 different days. Not all onto the same day.

    1.push
    2.pull
    3.rest
    4.legs
    5.rest
    Repeat
    Or
    1.push
    2.pull
    3.legs
    4.rest
    Repeat

If you are working all aspects of your body in one day. It's goes from a push/pull/legs to a full body workout.

Why not do full-body lifting 2-3x weekly, then spin and kickboxing on days in between? Adding conditioning circuits/CX Works (core) and kettlercise seems overkill, but I guess could work if you do full-body 2x weekly and then add them in from there.
