I'm not lifting regularly so I lay off protein shakes. I'm still tired of all the foods I make for protein. I'll do the same things cause they are quick and easy. Turkey Chili, Turkey tacos, pork loin in crock pot, shake n bake lean chops, etc etc. it's all the same stuff.

anybody have good healthy meals higher in protein. I have no issue getting my carbs and fat.

Protein shakes, greek yogurt. You don't have to get most of your protein from meals, it can easily come from snacks too.

    chicken.
    beef.
    pork.
    fish.
    cottage cheese.

you don't have to lift to drink protein shakes. If I'm under on my goal, I'll have a shake to hit my goal. Doesn't matter if you're lifting or not.

I'm a vegetarian and I have no issue meeting my protein goals. I tend to get right up to protein or even go over, but still have plenty of carbs left. Beans, bro. Also, cheese, tuna, eggs, peanut butter (I'm lacto-ovo vegetarian with occasional seafood consumption).

...and your logging is sporadic at best. How do you know what you're actually eating if you're not logging in the first place?

Chicken gizzards simmered in chicken broth with a sprinkle of soy sauce makes for small snacks packed with protein.

Dry roasted edamame - 14 g protein per 30 g. Low carb, low fat, high fiber. Eating a handful of these daily is usually the only reason I meet my protein goal, because I don't eat a lot of meat.
