I am following a new ketogenic diet. Every day I finish my journal entry, it tells me I am going to weigh more in five weeks. Is it because my fitness pal is geared a different direction?

I'm no expert on the NKD...but I'll throw this out as an idea. It could be based on total calories per day your logging. MFP uses a calories in/calories out logarithm. If your 5'2" and logging 2500+ calories a day, it might calculate a calorie surplus thus a weight gain.
I know lots of people that eat crazy amounts of ketogenic food and drop the lbs. Check back in and post how your doing.0 -
I did not finished my day and close my diary often so I am not sure, but my guess is that you are eating too many calories for what MFP thinks is your TDEE. You can change your settings, or don't bother finishing your diary.0
