hi all, i know this sounds stupid because mfp does calculate but i think id rather get some advice from people. i do 4 weight lifting days a week/ 1 hiit football session/ 3 2-3 mile runs a week also. I currently am eating 1600 a day or just under. i do add my calories back from exercise but no where near what mfp recommends thats insane. anyways im 5ft 7 and 15.11 stone male and i want to lose 2 stone max. its mainly my body tone after that mark. i would like to lose as fast as possible(who doesnt) but ofc i dont want any loose skin etc. now i do have clear stretchmarks from when i was 18 stone a few years ago and i lost a couple stone through running. im worried about these alot as they are on my bicep but very feint but it kinda demotivates me to build my arms up as they will look worse? also got love handles etc where the more stubborn fat is. just feeling a bit demotivated so just wanted some advice to atleast reassure me im doing it right. anyway thank you guys..

You are not eating nearly enough calories for your size and activity level, there's NO WAY you should be consuming anything less than 2000 calories a day at a MINIMUM

This should help you to figure out how many calories you should REALLY be eating

Use this to figure out your BMR (how many calories you burn just living at a resting pace) :
    http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/

Then use this to factor in your activity level:
    http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/harris-benedict-equation/

That will give you the number of calories you would need to eat to Maintain your weight

When you have that number you will want to subtract 10-20% (for healthy weight loss) and this will be the true number of calories you should eat!

    Hope this helps!

To give you an idea of what you should be shooting for, for you weight,

If you have a body fat of 20%, your TDEE is 2840 calories

If you have a body fat of 25%, your TDEE is 2700 calories

If you have a body fat of 30%, your TDEE is 2550 calories

If you have a body fat of 35%, your TDEE is 2400 calories

    etc.

oh wow i really thought that would be fine :S well i just done the bmr and tdee checks etc and its saying about 3k calories a day i should eat so i been eating near on 50% which im guessing is way too low? the thing is im very fit for my size. i have been working out for a few years on and off, can run 6 miles at 9 minute a mile etc. im not saying im super fit just pretty good for my size i would think. so do i take anyway of that into consideration or not? thanks again

oh also im not sure if im sedentary or not as im not working but i do workout the days as i posted earlier? not sure what my acitivity level should be at :S
