Bad weekend

Okay, so the title is a little misleading: I had a bad Sunday. I woke up not feeling very great, and had little motivation. I binged quite a bit and was really off the diet bandwagon.

I don't see it as a bad thing: I can feel that I am learning and growing. For one, I did tell myself: "why are you eating? You aren't evening hungry." The other is that I woke up with bad heartburn this morning, which I think is because I have generally been eating healthy. So yea, feeling inspired to stick to MFP and my diet!

I had the same experience. Rough weekend with a bit (a lot lol) of a binge. But I'm fasting now and expect to be back on track for projected weight loss by the end of the week. Sometimes the pressure of trying to get into "the best possible shape as fast as possible" is a lot to deal with, so it's okay to slip up sometimes so long as you get back on the wagon and keep your focus.

I feel similar, that the rare binge is okay. And honestly, I really did like how I felt full so much sooner on this binge compared to in the past.

I had a similar Sunday. I just took a mental day off. I did not log nor did I do the bills nor the meal planning I usually do on Sunday. I played with the cat and dog and caught up on my TV shows and some light housework.

@Geocitiesuser - Same. Fasted this morning because I had my "splurge" meal yesterday.

I eat great during the week therefore I plan a weekly splurge meal, normally on a weekend. I feel that it helps me stay on track by not feeling deprived and prevents me from binging.

Last night was my "splurge" meal so today I am drinking a bunch of water. I also intermitten fast about 3 times a week. I have my weight loss goals set non-aggressively because I want to be able to sustain this for long term.

Glad to see you pushed through and are moving forward onto good health.
