Dunno about i digestion etc but I have to eat my coffee and dairy foods for breakfast and lunch, so that I get maximum absorption from my iron rich dinner.

Iron in eggs isn't that well absorbed anyway so I wouldn't bother try to keep it away from milk. (also I love custards and quiches hehe)

It's going to depend on your particular body. Keep track of when you get indigestion and look back and see if you find a pattern. Different people have different triggers, and contrary to old wives tales, it's usually specific foods and not combinations. If it's really severe, doctors can help.
