I do it pretty much daily. I reserve about 10% of my calories to treats. Having said that, I also highly concentrate on adequate protein, I don't have an aggressive weight loss goal, and I mainly eat whole foods.0 -
A healthy and balanced diet presupposes that you - as a responsible adult - are in charge and free to decide what, how much and when to eat.
Try it. Log your intake. Aim to hit your calorie and macro goals. Pay attention to how you feel - mood, energy - when you eat this and that. That will in time teach you how to eat.1 -
As often as you can fit it in your calories without compromising other essential nutrients.0

I do one meal a week where I dont count calories. I do eat treats the other days but I count it in my calorie count.0

Depends on the size of the treat and how the rest of your calories and nutrients look. A small treat can be a daily thing - I like a nice square of dark chocolate - an entire triple chocolate fudge cake would be a less often thing.0 -

I have dessert twice a day and my evening snack is probably considered a treat.1 -
It all comes down to the numbers. If you have a calorie deficit, you'll lose. If not, you won't.0
