Rest days?

I'm trying to get my booty into shape quickly, and I'm wondering what the rule is for at home, non-weighted exercises (like bridges and donkey kicks). Do I still need to take a day off in between workouts as I would if I were doing squats at the gym? And can I do my 30 minute workout at home and later in the same day do weighted hip thrusts and squats at the gym? I just want to get the most benefit.

You should give yourself one day of rest, but on that day go for a nice walk instead of hitting the gym...

The glutes can take a beating. You can definitely work them 4-6x times per week depending on your progamming..ie. as long as you aren't doing super heavy squats or deadlifts everyday. I do glute activation or burnouts after most of my glute workouts, and you can definitely do it later in the day!

That doesn't sound intense enough to need a rest day. Take one if you feel like you need it, don't if you don't.
