Hi all,
So growing up i never struggled with my weight and could basicly eat what i wanted, also having a highly active job was of course was great until i hit the 40s after this things just seemed to slow down and the entusiasm for excercise was less and less. The wife got pregnant and so did i at the same time always doing lots of comfort eating and eating cos she would eat :noway: :noway:
So 5yrs on and hitting the scales at 107kg i finally got a wake up call for things to change. May 2013 i was taken in to hospital with blood clots in both lungs and not in a good shape so the days that followed were by no means easy on me or my family, but hey i survived and it obviuosly wasnt my time to go which i am obviously very happy over.
So while lying in the hospital bed i certainly had time to think over what happend and decided it was time for change and thats when i found MFP.
2 months down the road and i am starting to see results CW 98,5kg and following IPOARM and loving all this eating as i never feel hungry:laugh:  . The scales have now gone out the window and i am just using a tape measure as i would find myself going crazy hopping on and off the scales and seeing no changes:mad:
Big shoutout already to Helloitsdan for great advice
Anymore help/advice will be warmly welcome
Good luck to you all on your journeys!!
