Can't wait for Weidman Silva rematch in December. Loved Silva, but dude! Put your hands down and you deserve to get clocked. Its a new day.
Go Weidman.0 -
I'm watching it right now! xD I agree! Weidman deserves the win.Anderson Silva was acting to cocky in there.For 7 years of doing that to his opponents he found someone with his number0

^My thoughts exactly.0 -
DH and I used to watch UFC a couple years back. Urijah Faber and Brock Lesnar were faves. That Brock looks like he throws baby cows around for fun.
Last fight I watched was Faber v Mike Brown, when Faber broke his right hand and dislocated his left thumb (?) and finished the fight with kicks. Kinda like Rocky, even though he lost.0 -
I'm not as into UFC as I was Pride. That's probably just for Mirko though . I really miss his better days. Also, I enjoy mma,but it makes it very difficult to find kickboxing bouts within 300 miles to compete in. Everyone wants to see and compete in mma. :grumble:0

@Calliope610 Agree 100%0

I'm a fan, but I still think it needs to be more violent. Enough with the hugging & play fighting! In ground work you want to submit the person, not be on top of them doing nothing for 5 rounds (Cough, GSP). I guess it looks good to dominate, but it's kind of a yawnfest for the audience. I want to see more striking and ground & pound!0

x giggles x I'm pretty sure you can't just sit on top of another fighter and he will just lay there for 5 rounds. If a fighter can dominate on top for 5 rounds, he is doing something right.0 -
@Still_Standin Me too! I've been watching UFC since 2004 but 2008 is when it really started to pick up.I've watched every fight nights,versus cards,fx cards,fox,and fuel cards.I have no life xD I've taken some kickboxing and.even met Joe Stevenson once(nice guy)Trust me when I say that through the 8 year time period watching UFC,things have changed sooo much.I also use to watch Elite Xc,Strikeforce,WEC,and now I watch Bellator every Wed.0

*THIS GUY!* I've been a MMA fan since back when UFC was illegal in 48 states, there weren't any weight classes, and I had to rent <cough, blows dust off> VHS tapes from Video World! Remember when John McCain was trying to ban it nationwide?!
I must admit though, once Zuffa took over, established weight classes and a comprehensive ruleset, it got MUCH better! Anderson Silva (AS) was my boy but I'm actually glad he got knocked-the-flock out! He got WAYYY too cocky and needed to be taken down a peg! However, I hope he stay middleweight. I saw him do a catchweight/l-heavyweight fight and he looked horrible! Kinda like when Rashad Evans started as heavyweight.... sloppy! Rashad found his flow as l-heavyweight just like AS found his zone in middleweight. Also, I'd love to see AS totally dominate GSP, I don't think that will happen. GSP is a better welterweight and I doubt he could handle fighting as middleweight.
Anyway, I could go on FOREVER talking MMA...0 -
