I got serious about losing weight on January 1 of this year. I had gained 70 pounds in the last 5 1/2 years since I quit smoking.
I've been weighing everything I eat since New Years Day and recording it on MyFitnessPal, and I've lost 35 pounds in the last 68 days. That's the halfway point to my goal weight of 210. I'm proud and excited.
It's been tough to stay away from sugars and strictly reduce my intake of bread and other baked goods, and pasta too. But it's working.

you show great discipline and will obviously reach your goal. It took the same willpower to quit smoking..so you can do this!
