Calorie requirement question

Does the MFP calorie requirement figure change automatically as one loses weight?
I'm thinking that after a certain loss one requires less calories? Does MFP adjust automatically or do you have to "reset" with your data? Thanks

I believe it does a reset for you after every 10 pounds you lose.

To clarify, you should get a prompt to recalculate after 10 pounds lost.0 -
You should get a message about recalculating goals when you have lost 10 lbs (at least thats how it used to be).

It doesn't update automatically.0

It's supposed to but seemingly (as you can see from what @Francl27 says) it doesn't work for everyone. You can force it to recalculate by going into your goal and changing to to "maintain my weight" and back again.0

Great user name!!!!
I can confirm that marshmallows have a calorific value of about 25 cals each but when taken nasally the calorific intake should be negligible.1
