    Every time I see the the title of this thread I think it says GYNO.

    I've always thought being a gynecologist is weird. Why would any man or woman want to look at that all day? Not everyone who comes in is going to be a young 20 something and the amount of people who have STDs :s *shudders*

    I believe that, many do because they knew someone whom, might've suffered/died of; genital cancer and/or an STD, etc. & thus they desire to help with, the fight against it; happening to other women! That'd be the only reason why, I'd be comfortable with a man gynecologist otherwise; I keep thinking of the movie: The Hand That Rocks The Cradle (Where which the, male gynecologist was; a pervert)!

    haha maybe they just wanna deliver babies?! I guess that's only if they're an OB/GYN... to those that are just GYN docs, they be perves ;)

    my company owns a women's clinic aka gynocologist and all of the providers are obstetricians also. just like kace said, they mainly do it for the babies.

    it blows my mind that women don't wanna see a male gyno though. like hi, i'd rather have a male feeling me up than a female. plus, all the females i know are rude and judgemental towards the patients. the male providers have no judgement.

    though once a doctor told me a patient was "a train wreck down there" and that's saying a lot cause he can't tell one vagina from the next :lol:
