I think I'm losing weight too quickly

Hello my fellow myfitnesspalians!
So today I hopped on the scale, and lo and behold! I weigh ... 155 pounds. Great!!!! The only problem is, I weighed 156 pounds yesterday. I know that healthy weight loss is 1 - 2 pounds a week ... not 1 -2 pounds a day. Am I doing something wrong? I think I ate pretty healthily yesterday. I don't know how many calories I had since I was eating intuitively, but I felt nice and full all day long so I assumed things were going well.
Oh and I just started eating intuitively on Monday.

Weight fluctuates up and down. You may see it go up two pounds tomorrow. Don't sweat it, unless the long-term trend of loss becomes too high or too low/a gain.4

could potentially be a "whoosh"....for me I will stay a steady weight for a few days then all of a sudden I will drop a pound or two. Sadly, for me, usually after the whoosh I'll gain a little back and the process repeats lol! I find my whooshes mostly come after higher sodium days/workout days where I might retain water, or time-of-the-month0

Weight fluctuates throughout the day, who knows you could weigh yourself tomorrow and be 157 lbs...it's normal0

It's just one day. If you just started, there's typically a rush of water weight that comes off quickly. I lost 5 pounds my first 2 weeks, but has averaged to maybe 1/2 a pound per week now. Weight loss isn't linear, so you could lose for a while, then get into a stall. I personally like looking at loss trends over weeks and months. As long as you are sure you're eating less than you burn, you'll continue to lose weight.1

Like they said, weight fluctuates daily and as women, we have even more dramatic weight changes due to hormones, etc. For me I could seemingly lose 2 pounds in 1 day if I'm dehydrated. My advice is not to weigh yourself every day. Weigh yourself once a week to show a trend that won't drive you nuts.1

You know, that makes sense. Thanks guys for helping me out (again)1

It is probably just sodium, water or stall weight. With tiny tiny tiny bit of fat.0

Over the last month how much have you lost?0

1 pound in 1 day is probably normal fluctuation and not actual weight loss. The actual weight of food that goes into/out of your body and drink that goes in/out is constantly changing. As is water weight.
If you were losing 2-5 pounds week for 3-6 weeks in a row, it would be worth assessing. But a change in a few pounds can easily happen in a day or so.0
