Setting Goals

I notice many people on the MFP website getting really down on themselves if they blow a meal, miss a workout, gain a pound. MFP and a weight scale are just tools to help us achieve our goals. Don't let them dictate your life or happiness. If you mess up or have a bad day, just brush it off and get back with it tomorrow. Focus on living a healthy life and the weight loss numbers, strength numbers, etc. will follow. Fitness and health is a journey that I think we can enjoy. My goal isn't to simply lose weight or get stronger (although those are really good goals) but to constantly improve myself. Hope this helps someone.
