Hi all!
So I am pretty much almost where I want to be at body composition wise. I have worked hard, and I'm determined to work even harder to shed those last few inches of body fat for a lean and muscular tone. I believe that aside from working out, this will be achieved through my diet! I have macro counted off and on for a year now but I'm looking to be hard core about it now and see what results it will provide me.
I've been doing it for about 3 weeks now and I am obsessed. Big time obsessed. I can still enjoy the occasional treat here and there while staying within my limits and ultimately feeling accomplished.
I am someone who is constantly struggling getting enough protein in between meals. Yes, protein shakes are great but who wants those 3 times a day?! If you guys have any yummy high protein snack recipes, send them my way!

I usually have soup in the late evening, and keep baggies of chopped chorizo, ham, chicken in the fridge - it's easy to add a handful to the bowl of soup before microwaving.. I'll add a bit extra if I'm low on protein for the day.
Higher-fat options like sausage, ham can also be tossed on top of other recipes before you microwave (as in on top of rice or roasted veggies). (don't try this with lean chicken though - you'll wind up with dried out chicken jerky).
Adding beans to recipes ups the protein (good option for soup or rice).
Snack-like stuff:
Eggs. I like hard-boiled eggs halved with dijon mustard on top of crackers.
Cottage cheese. (good with jam and crackers).
Greek yogurt. (I like it with jam and crumbled up Clif bar).
