FUNYONS!! Wise makes great onion ring tasting rings without the slimey onion. don't I make it sound appealing?
  • I have actually never had a fried vegetable.. i was brought up on nothing but boiled, i did have a friend one time who made caramelized carrots once, they were pretty tasty

I only eat onion ring coating and pull the onion part out LOL

    Me too lol

I am just as picky with veggies though.. besides broccoli, carrots, turnip (rutabaga) spinach, arugula and SOMETIMES i will eat lettuce but i really gotta be in the mood for it, if its on a burger, i will pick it off cause warm lettuce is just slimy and gross LOL.. but other then that... thats it for veggies.. besides the occasional puree onion i will add to soup stock

Funny thread. Kriss, don't take it personally, but Nova Scotia might possibly have the worst food Ive ever had. The only and only salad I could find had bugs in it. But, Moosehead is some mighty fine beer.

Back to the topic at hand.... yes, business travels sucks worse than a Canadian food, get a salad with chicken, or steak/salmon and veggies. Boring, but predictable.

Eating out for me always makes me feel weird because I don't know for sure about the calories in the food I'm consuming and it's always really easy to overeat because they offer breads and side salads which just add to the total calories at the end. If I know which restaurant I'm going to in advance, I'll try to scope out the menu so that I can pick healthier choices.

I had to rush to the airport then rush to my gate. Haven't eaten since almost 8 hours. Now I will be subject to airline food. Blasted airports! I raise my fist in your general direction.

When I have to eat out my go-tos are Wendy's chili, Panera Thai Chicken salad, Subway, Swiss Chalet. They're actually really macro friendly.

Ha. That's very close to mine. It's Panera pick 2, Thai chicken salad and black bean soup. Wendy's Mediterranean Salad and Subway. Down south I like going to Newks.
