60lbs is my goal..10 down and 50 to go. I lost 10 in 10 days..Now seems to be slower this week

It is very common to see large losses early on, this is mostly water weight due to eating fewer calories and probably less carbs and sodium as well.
If you stay consistent in your plan you should settle into a steady weight loss pattern over the next 1-2 months, this is actual fat loss. It will probably take several month to lose the 60 lbs, but you can absolutely get there with a little patience and persistence.

The first covers accurate logging and some of the tools in MFP to help you make things easier. The second discusses caloric needs and setting goals. This one is a little heavier but if you take the time to digest it there is alot of very valuable information there. These two posts completely changed my MFP experience and helped me be much more successful, so I hope they do the same for you.
