Ending Added Sugar/12 Week Transformation

Hello everyone,
I usually keep to myself but I just wanted a bit of support today. I made it official yesterday. For the next 12 weeks I will only have sugar from oatmeal instant packets, honey nut cheerios, and chocolate milk. No cookies, cakes, donuts, sugar added juice, other cereals, ice cream, brownies, honey buns, hot chocolate etc
If you look all throughout my diary history dating back to June 2013 or farther sugar has been my kryptonite. Daily I average about 1000 cals from extra sugar or more. It makes me sluggish, sleepy, and in extreme cases makes my chest hurt like I have gas or heartburn. In place of that sugar I plan to eat more protein and drink more water. My friend and workout partner is quitting drinking and is replacing smoking with a nicotine gum for our 12 week challenge. We both plan to lose 30 lbs. I lost 33lbs in 3 months with a crapton of weights and basketball daily with 1 true rest day a week. I didn't have access to healthy food but I did cut portions. Now, I have access to a good amount of healthy food, but I only have about an hour and a half each day for extra activity. All of my knowledge, will, and energy will be going into this!
Aiming to beat my back then photo on my profile. I was anywhere from 203-213lbs. I am currently 248lbs. My lifting will be primarily focused on strength with a bit of HIIT. If you have any tips for me I welcome everything.
