This isn't a big deal for me but I'm curious to know how many other people have bf/gf/spouses that train.

Hell yeah she does...
Fitness is important to both of us and we're setting positive examples for our kiddos.2 -
For one, it's something we'd have in common. The other person understands if you don't respond to a message right away. Most importantly, I prefer the look of a woman who works out over flat-assed cardio bunnies.
Fair enough. I prefer that look too but I don't know that I'd overlook someone who didn't train.0 -
Speaking only for myself, I would say common interests. One of the things that attracted my wife and I to each other was our common interest in being outside and being active and fitness. One of our first dates was an early morning jog...many of our dates were and still are fitness/activity related...we go on rides together, we hike together, we go to the rock climbing gym together, etc...though I no longer run with her because she's way too advanced for me, and frankly I'm not big on running.
I also love taking the kiddos out to her races to watch and cheer her on, and vice versa. It's all a lot of fun and I really couldn't imagine being with someone who wasn't into fitness.

Mine has always done so. We do our own thing, but he's very supportive.0

You were so lucky to meet each other! I never managed to find a SO who was interested in outdoors and going to the gym regularly or, at least, once in a while.0 -
Yes. He's the one that told me I should start lifting.1

Nope
My first husband was obsessed with fitness and that didn't work out.0 -

Does she train?
The better question is: Can she kick my *kitten* ?
The answer is 'yes' to both questions....3
