Looks like your are very active and you need to up your calories Google TDEE calculators and run your numbers and see where you actually need to be for your calories.

I am also not working due to medical issues, so I keep my activity level set to low. I go to the gym at least 5 days a week, and half the time I walk there. I just make sure I log my activity. That way the days I am in too much pain to move, I don't have my calorie limit too high. I am not sure if that's right, but it's what I do.

    2 Methods:

MFP - your activity level does not include exercise - your calories deficit is built in BEFORE exercise. Then you log workouts & those calories are added back to your daily total (these are called net calories).

TDEE - includes exercise - then you take a % off that number to lose weight.... many people prefer this method .... you eat the same calories everyday

Are you using the TDEE method or MFP's activity level? If MFP then you don't include exercise in your activity level; MFP is a NEAT method calculator (Non Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) which is why it doesn't make mention of exercise in your activity...just your day to day hum drum. MFP has you log exercise as extra activity and eat those exercise calorie back to net to your calorie goal.

If you want to use the TDEE method I recommend going to an actual TDEE calculator to enter your info and then customizing your calorie goal here. It will make more sense if you look at an actual TDEE calculator when estimating activity from exercise.

Ok ive entered my tdee and it was 3000 around about. Now 20% off that mean 2400 calories. THATS INSANE?? isnt it?? Just seems a massive jump up from 1600 but ofc that means no extra when I workout. But if there is a day I dont work out ill feel a greedy pig haha??
